Aedon Privacy Policy

Aedon ("the app") is an iOS music player that slowly learns the music you love. This document explains how Aedon handles your information.

Aedon does not collect any of your personal information or send it to the developer. Aedon has no server of its own. Your library, listening history, and settings all stay on your device.

1. Information We Collect

None. Aedon uses no analytics tools, no tracking SDKs, and no advertising, and it does not send any data to a server run by the developer.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

All of the following is stored only on your device and never leaves it:

Your music library (track list, sources, how it's organized)
Listening history and statistics (play and skip counts, etc.) — used to improve recommendation accuracy
Settings (EQ, playback options, etc.)
Recent searches (up to 5)
Cached audio files for tracks streamed from Audius

If you delete the app, all of this data is deleted along with it.

3. Third-Party Services

To search for and play music, Aedon sends anonymous lookup requests — such as search terms and track information — to the external services below. These requests contain nothing that identifies you.

Audius (api.audius.co) — track search, trending, and playback
Apple Music (Apple MusicKit) — catalog search and playback. Your use of Apple Music is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
MusicBrainz (musicbrainz.org) — enriching track metadata (artist, tags, and the like)
Internet radio — Aedon plays streams from public radio stations (SomaFM, Radio France, BBC, KEXP, and others).

4. Permissions

Apple Music (optional) — used only to search and play the Apple Music catalog you subscribe to. Aedon works fine even if you don't grant this permission.
File access — used only to import the music files you choose yourself.

Aedon does not use the microphone, camera, location, or contacts.

5. Tracking

Aedon does not track you across apps or websites. (App Store privacy label: no tracking / no data collected.)

6. Children's Privacy

Because Aedon does not collect anyone's personal information, it does not collect information from children either.

7. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, this document and the "Last updated" date will be revised. If a future update adds iCloud sync across devices, we will revise this policy to reflect it.

Aedon(이하 "앱")은 당신이 듣는 음악을 천천히 학습하는 iOS 음악 플레이어입니다. 이 문서는 Aedon이 당신의 정보를 어떻게 다루는지 설명합니다.

Aedon은 당신의 어떤 개인정보도 수집하거나 개발자에게 전송하지 않습니다. Aedon에는 자체 서버가 없습니다. 당신의 라이브러리, 청취 기록, 설정은 전부 당신의 기기 안에만 머뭅니다.

1. 수집하는 정보

없습니다. Aedon은 분석 도구, 추적 SDK, 광고를 일절 사용하지 않으며, 개발자가 운영하는 서버로 어떤 데이터도 보내지 않습니다.

2. 기기에 저장되는 정보

다음은 모두 당신의 기기 안에만 저장되며 외부로 나가지 않습니다:

음악 라이브러리 (곡 목록, 출처, 정리 상태)
청취 기록 및 통계 (재생·스킵 횟수 등) — 추천 정확도 향상에 사용
설정 (EQ, 재생 옵션 등)
최근 검색어 (최대 5개)
Audius에서 받은 곡의 캐시 오디오 파일

앱을 삭제하면 이 데이터는 전부 함께 삭제됩니다.

3. 제3자 서비스

음악을 검색하고 재생하기 위해 Aedon은 아래 외부 서비스에 검색어·곡 정보 같은 익명 조회 요청을 보냅니다. 당신을 식별하는 정보는 포함되지 않습니다.

Audius (api.audius.co) — 곡 검색·트렌딩·재생
Apple Music (Apple MusicKit) — 카탈로그 검색·재생. Apple Music 사용은 Apple 개인정보 처리방침의 적용을 받습니다.
MusicBrainz (musicbrainz.org) — 곡 메타데이터 보강 (아티스트·태그 등)
인터넷 라디오 — 공개 라디오 방송국(SomaFM, Radio France, BBC, KEXP 등)의 스트림을 재생합니다.

4. 권한

Apple Music (선택) — 구독 중인 Apple Music 카탈로그를 검색·재생하기 위해서만 사용합니다. 권한을 주지 않아도 Aedon은 정상 작동합니다.
파일 접근 — 당신이 직접 선택한 음악 파일을 가져오기 위해서만 사용합니다.

마이크, 카메라, 위치, 연락처는 사용하지 않습니다.

5. 추적

Aedon은 당신을 앱·웹사이트 간에 추적하지 않습니다. (App Store 개인정보 라벨: 추적 없음 / 수집 데이터 없음)

6. 아동의 개인정보

Aedon은 누구의 개인정보도 수집하지 않으므로, 아동의 정보 또한 수집하지 않습니다.

7. 처리방침 변경

이 방침이 변경되면 이 문서와 "최종 수정" 날짜가 갱신됩니다. 향후 업데이트에서 기기 간 iCloud 동기화가 추가될 경우, 그 내용을 반영하여 본 방침을 개정합니다.
