Aedon is a music library that learns your taste and curates itself. The answers below cover the questions people ask most often.

A song won't play

Tracks from Audius and internet radio need an active internet connection — if a stream fails, check your connection and try again. Apple Music tracks require an Apple Music subscription and the Apple Music permission (see below). For files you imported yourself, make sure the format is supported: MP3, AAC, ALAC, FLAC, or AIFF.

Apple Music isn't showing results

Aedon asks for Apple Music permission the first time you search the Apple Music catalog. If you declined, you can turn it on in the iOS Settings app → Aedon → Media & Apple Music. Playing the Apple Music catalog also needs an active Apple Music subscription. Aedon works fully without this — you simply won't see Apple Music results.

How do I import my own music files?

Aedon plays audio files stored on your device. You can open audio files in Aedon from the Files app, share them to Aedon from another app, or add them through Aedon's file import. Supported formats: MP3, AAC, ALAC, FLAC, and AIFF.

How do I delete all my data?

Everything Aedon stores — your library, listening history, settings, and cached audio — lives only on your device. Deleting the app from your iPhone permanently removes all of it. There is no account and no server-side data, so nothing else needs to be erased.
